Yowsa, that is taking things a wee bit too far. Although, it would not surprise me if it happened at our school; there is a 'zero tolerance' policy there too and a child in his class was reprimanded about not drawing violent images. [insert funny remark about a grammar gun here]
I remember getting a call from the school when my childrens were little - seems one of my childrens drew a picture of two peoples rubbing peepees - she is now warped for life!
