I personally use plastic for my blazers, thought the dry cleaning ones are fine because they cover them with paper and add this cardboard shoulder cover to keep the shape. But I need the wire ones for my consignment clothes. You could sell all your wire hangers on eBay, by the way.

I need to find a way to keep my cotton pants from fading. Maybe wool light dark?

I'm also not very disciplined about linen. I ruin it and have to buy more dresses. Now is a good time to buy linen on eBay--not in season yet.

This reminds me of when I was in college. We had this roommate who never did the dishes, just left them in the sink. So one of my suitemates and I just took them all and threw them in the trash. That'll teach her!

p.s. what happened to happy blogging?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24442373.post-75371131745293298702008-02-10T23:29:00.000-07:002008-02-10T23:29:00.000-07:00If wooden hangers get the least bit damp, the stai...If wooden hangers get the least bit damp, the stain in the wood tends to ruin clothes- you should invest in plastic and only plastic hangers. NO WIRE HANGERS!!!

I once had a white cotton jacket and it spent the winter in the closet on a wooden hanger and in the spring it was ruined - had big brown stains where it made contact with the hanger and it would not even bleach out....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
